To publicize the results of construction of modern fisheries of Zhejiang Province, to show brand, unique, excellent, new aquatic
products, to further expand exchanges and cooperation in fisheries, to develop aquatic products market, to promote transformation
and upgrading of the development of fishery methods and increasing fishery efficiency and fishers’ income, 2010 ZHEJIANG FISHERY EXPO
will be held in China Textile City International Convention and Exhibition Centre, located in Keqiao, Shaoxing,
Zhejiang, China, from Sep. 28th to 30th 2010.

1.Organization Form
2010 ZHEJIANG FISHERY EXPO is hosted by Zhejiang Ocean and Fishery Bureau, China Aquatic Processing and Marketing
Association, undertook by Shaoxing County People's Government with the help of the Provincial Association of Aquatic Products
Processing and Marketing.

2.Themes and Content
"Ecology, security, technology, high efficiency" is as the theme of this Expo, reflecting the outcome of Zhejiang construction of modern fishing, showing and promoting the new technologies, new models, new processes, new products of fishing, expanding exchanges and cooperation in fisheries, improving the development fisheries.
(A) Exhibition and Sales Exhibition. Design the exhibition center, the aquatic products exhibition area and the modern fishing facilities exhibition area.

1. Exhibition Center (main for showing). Publicize and show the results of construction of modern fisheries of entire Zhejiang province, fisheries leading enterprises, famous, special, excellent, new varieties, new bright spot of fishing, new products and fish culture.
2, Brand, Famous and Excellent Seafood Exhibition Area (main for sales). A total of 300 standard booths, fisheries leading enterprises of different Zhejiang cities, professional fishing cooperatives and processing enterprises and so on, some enterprises from other provinces and Taiwan aquatic products enterprises.
3. Modern Fishing Equipment and Technology Facilities Exhibition Area (combination of show and sale). Display of "ecological, safe, technology and efficient" fishing, aquaculture facilities and equipment, ensuring of aquatic live, fresh, frozen, processing equipment, recreational fishing equipment.

(B) The Modern Fishing Development Forums. Ecology, safety, technology and efficient as the goal of fishery development, to enlarge the aquaculture leading industry, to upgrade and transform marine fishing ,to strengthen deep processing, to develop facilities fisheries and cultivate leisure ornamental fish as the focal point, to enrich the fishers and to strengthen the ecology system as the purpose. On the above, two forums will be carrying out: Modern Fisheries Development Forum organized by Zhejiang Province Fisheries Economics Institute, Modern Fisheries Technology Forum organized by Zhejiang Society of Fisheries.

(C) Themes Awards Selection. This Expo assesses the following awards: 1, Zhejiang Fresh, Processing Aquatic Products Brand Award (Province Fisheries "Double Ten Award"); 2010 ZHEJIANG FISHERY EXPO Gold Award, Quality Award.

(D) The Fine Seafood Promotion. Organizing Special Conference for Fisheries "Double Ten", Gold Award, Quality Award. Meanwhile, holding famous brand and high quality aquatic products Matchmaking program.

5. Fisheries Situation of Zhejiang Province
 Zhejiang is a big province of the fishing industry. In 2009,the total aquatic products is about 5.50 million tons , 3 million tons of marine fishing ranks first in the country, processed aquatic products 2.365 million tons, export 0.46 million tons, trade volume reached 1.7 billion dollars. The number of processing enterprises in Zhejiang is 2133, of which annual output worth nearly billion is 80, more than 1,000 varieties of production species, particularly Zhoushan squid is over 70% of the gross domestic output. Zhejiang Province has become the big province of fishing industry in China, also strong province of fish processing and export in China.
